930am: The line for registration begins to snake out the doors, people gingerly waiting to get examined. Our medical students mill about finding their respective stations, such booths as fisiatria, dermatologia, farmacia, pediatria, medicina interna, psiquiatria, signos basicos, and oximetria.
The atmosphere is relaxed and holistic, yet somehow there's an unspoken organization that allows for things to get done. The crowd is mixed, with mothers and toddlers waiting side by side with elderly and young alike. Currently the crowd is anywhere from 50 to 100 patients.
